[T]he silencing of LGBTQI literature doesn’t affect only gay or questioning kids who are looking for stories to help them untangle their identities. These books are equally important for straight and cis-gendered teens because stories are our greatest tool to create empathy and combat intolerance.

So my 100 follower giveaway hadn’t even ended before I hit 500 LOL. HOW IS THIS HAPPENING SO FAST. But I told myself I’d do another one at 500, so! Lo and behold!

This time: DON’T PAY ATTENTION TO THE BOOKS PICTURED. They’re just there to look pretty. :)

  1. The prize is as many books as you can buy with $20. YUP. YOU CAN GET MORE THAN ONE BOOK WITH THIS.
  2. To do this, you can use any book website of your choosing, but I highly recommend 3rd party sellers off of Amazon or bookdepository. Of course, this depends on where the books will be shipping to, but I VERY STRONGLY RECOMMEND the Amazon option (if shipping to your country is possible). YOU CAN GET ONE BOOK FOR $4 OR LESS, if you hunt strategically. I HAVE GOTTEN 4-6 BOOKS (mostly used) FOR $20 THIS WAY.
  3. THE $20 DOES INCLUDE SHIPPING. Just so you’re aware.
  4. I AM an Amazon Prime member. This means I will not have to pay shipping for eligible items. If you’re the winner, I will gladly work with you and message back and forth to find as many books as you can within the limit.
  5. As this is a very warm thank you to those who made this possible, you must be following me, just-one—more-page. I will be checking! If it’s a secondary blog, a link to it must be somewhere on your primary so I can tell it’s you. (I strongly hope you won’t unfollow afterwards. I’m really an enjoyable person, and you may actually like my blog!)
  6. You may enter by both liking and reblogging this post, and you may reblog as many times as you like. Just be considerate of your followers, and avoid spamming them.
  7. No giveaway blogs allowed!
  8. I will choose a winner with a random number generator from the notes.
  9. When a winner is chosen, they will have 48 hours to respond to me and start to actively work with me about which books they choose before I randomly choose another winner.
  10. Please make sure your ask box is open! Otherwise I will not be able to notify you if you won.
  11. You must be comfortable with giving me a shipping address. I won’t keep it or do anything else with it, I promise. <3
  12. The giveaway ends at 12:00AM EST on October 1st!

If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to ask! NOW GO FORTH AND REBLOG, MY LOVELIES. <3 FOR THE LOVE OF BOOKS!

My idea of rich is that you can buy every book you ever want without looking at the price and you’re never around assholes. That’s the two things to really fight for in life.

Hello you gorgeous tumblr people! Thanks so much for 200 followers! It means so much to me that 200 of you amazing people put up with my dorkiness and take the time to talk to me. You guys always make me smile and are genuinely fantastic. I’m so grateful for each one of you beautiful little llamas. In order to celebrate, I have decided to host my very first giveaway! Now, enough babble and let’s get on with the rules.

The Rules:

  • You must be following me  as this giveaway is primarily to thank all of my lovely followers. I will be checking.
  • You may like this post in order to bookmark it, but only reblogs will count as entries. You may, however, reblog as many times as you like, but please don’t spam your followers.
  • This giveaway is international thanks to the Book Depository. Just make sure they ship to your country.
  • No giveaway blogs please!
  • Make sure your ask box is open, as I will be contacting you through it. If it isn’t, another winner will be chosen.
  • You have to be comfortable with giving me your address so I can ship the book. I promise I will not stalk you or do anything else with it (too lazy anyways)
  • The winner will be chosen via a random number generator.
  • The winner of this giveaway will be chosen on October 10th, and will be announced on my birthday (October 11th) because I’ll be very happy that day and would love to share my joy
  • The winner will have 48 hours to reply. If they don’t, another one will be chosen.
  • If you have any questions, just leave me an ask and I’ll be glad to help you out.

The Prize:

  • There will be one winner. (I’m sorry but I’m pretty broke)
  • The winner will receive my eternal love and friendship.
  • The winner will get to choose one of the books pictured above. I have tried to make the books as diverse as possible so I hope you find something you like.
  • The book can be any edition you like as long as it’s under 15 euro
  • You may pick any book in the same series as the ones above (say you can have Allegiant instead of Divergent)

Good luck everyone! And thanks again so much to all of you guys, who stick with me and make my day all the time. You mean the world to me my little llamas :D
